Social sharing preview
Control how your store link looks when shared on WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook.
When someone shares your store link on WhatsApp or Facebook, they see a preview card with your store name, description, and image. You can customise this.
What is it?
The link preview (called "OG tags") controls:
- Title — your store name as it appears in link previews
- Description — a one-line pitch shown below the title
- Image — the preview image (your logo or a product photo)
Setting it up
Via dashboard
Go to Store Design → scroll to Social sharing preview. You'll see:
- Title field (keep under 60 characters)
- Description field (keep under 160 characters)
- Image upload or URL
A live preview shows exactly how your link will look on WhatsApp.

Why it matters
A good link preview gets more clicks. When you share your store link on WhatsApp or social media:
- With preview: People see your store name, what you sell, and a nice image — they tap
- Without preview: They see a plain URL — most people scroll past
Tips
- Title — your business name + what you sell. "Priya's — Handmade Jewellery"
- Description — your value proposition. "Handcrafted temple jewellery. Free delivery across India."
- Image — use your logo or a hero product photo. 1200x630 pixels works best.
After setting up your OG tags, share your store link in a WhatsApp group to yourself and check how it looks.
